Daniela Jung is an International student from South Korea and Chile. She had this to say about what inspired her to study Classical & Computer Animation & Production and why she chose to attend Max the Mutt:
“I have been drawing for as long as I can remember. It has only been around 4 years since I started to take it more seriously when I became interested in pursuing a career in animation. I found the field of animation fascinating – the creativity, the craft, and the passion required to make these films intrigued me and I wanted to become a part of this wonderful field.
I chose Max the Mutt for its focus on art basics and foundation and the importance they place in learning traditional animation. I believe it is hard to find this anywhere else and the small size classes enable easier communication with professors which was exactly what I had been looking for. I have learned so many things from the instructors and fellow classmates I have met here.
I am still not quite sure in what field of animation I would like to work in the future as there is still so much more to learn! However, I am looking forward to every lesson and hopefully one day to become a professional craftswoman and artist.”
